This is a low temperature side heavy duty designed EGR cooler housing and insert kit for International/Navistar trucks equipped with MaxxForce 11 MaxxForce 13 diesel engines. The difference is in the flex tube design. The flex tube design can withstand more thermal flex than the OEM EGR cooler design.
The design of the EGR cooler uses thermal compensating tubes that utilize bend and flex tube technology. The bend and flex technology can withstand the thermal fatigue from high heat cycles and the thermal shock demanded by the engines of long haul trucks.
